A tire distributor in New Caledonia recently partnered with HEDA Shelves to upgrade their warehouse storage capacity and efficiency. The solution included a combination of heavy-duty cantilever racking and a customized mezzanine racking system, designed to optimize the vertical space and streamline tire storage and handling.
The customer faced growing storage demands due to increased tire inventory, but space was limited. They required a system that could accommodate both bulky, irregularly shaped items (such as tires) and allow for clear organization and easy access.
HEDA Shelves provided a tailored solution consisting of:
Heavy-duty cantilever racks for outdoor use, with a corrosion-resistant finish and bright orange arms for high visibility and easy load placement. These racks are ideal for storing long or bulky items and were installed along one side of the facility.
A custom-designed mezzanine floor system with racking beneath and around the mezzanine for maximizing every cubic meter of space. The system was painted in bright orange and blue, ensuring both aesthetics and safety. Tires were neatly stacked across both levels.
Installation & Feedback
The racking systems were smoothly installed by the customer’s local team with our remote guidance. Upon completion, the client shared positive feedback and sent photos of the fully operational storage area, expressing great satisfaction with the quality and functionality of the products.
